“This was a pretty difficult year to be growing (and ripening) Riesling in the Willamette Valley. We had significant rain events throughout the area in early October, leaving very small, and not so promising windows of real ripening hours left for the season. We were able to hang on until mid-October for harvesting. What we ended up with was a lower alcohol, bracingly acidic riesling. One for the cabinets.” — Ross + Bee Maloof, Maloof Wines
