What Are We? 2020
Another quaffable, light red/dark rosé wonder from the ever-interesting Joe Swick. 'What Are We' is full of floral aromatics and tingly red fruit flavors that will leave you wanting more.
We love it with… 🌮🍔🥟
Type: Red, Rosé
Grape: Roughly equal parts Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, and Grenache Noir
Region: Conley Vineyard, Columbia Valley, Washington
Vinification: Certified organic. Hand-harvested. The grapes are vinified separately. Marsanne and Grenache Blanc are both direct-pressed. The Grenache Noir spends 30 days on skins, whole cluster maceration. Foot stomped 1-2 times daily. The wines are then aged in neutral French oak for 8 months. Blended and lightly sulfured at bottling, no fining or filtration.
