A truly unique passito style dessert wine, where the grapes are partially dried on straw mats or pallets in order to concentrate the grapes’ flavors and sweetness prior to vinification.
Tart cherry, golden raisins, and woodsy tones with a long dry finish. Not your average dessert wine, it's rich without being syrupy or overly sweet. Would be great with creme brulee or poured over hazelnut ice cream.

Grape: 100% Centesimino
Region: Ravenna, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Vinification: Organic farming; hand harvest, with repeated selection of the best grapes; controlled withering of the vines. Destemming and soft crushing. Rare and prolonged macerations of the grape skins, for more than 10 days. Racking and soft crushing for a delicate extraction of the aromas. Spends 1 year aging in barrel. No filtering or fining.
