Oregon Chardonnay 2020
From the producer:“2020 will be remembered for a variety of reasons. Lost in mix was the delightful quality and potential that the vintage held. Absurdly low yields and a mild growing season rewarded us with wines of concentration and balance. Fruit came from 45 year old, dry-farmed, own-rooted vines at No Clos Radio. Everything was pressed, settled and barrel fermented spontaneously in a mix of Oregon and French oak. The wine was racked once to tank and bottled without fining or filtration.” — Jim Fischer + Jenny Mosbacher, Fossil & Fawn
