The cooler 2019 vintage allowed Jeff, the winemaker for Golden Cluster, to use all of his traditional Bordeaux grapes grown in the vineyard. Fermented and aged in wooden eggs, this wine reminds one of the great Bordeaux wines of the 1980s. Dark and inky with layered complexity -- notes of smoked paprika, river stone, dust, blackberries, and roses.
