Meigamma in Sardinian language means “after lunch nap.” In this word is enclosed a “slow life” philosophy that inspires Meigamma to produce their wines, olive oil & honey in the tiny town of Villasimius, about 600 meteres from the sea. Terzo is made from Nasco, an ancient variety that has called this area of the island home for centuries. The grapes spend 8 days on skins followed a few months in acacia barrels. Think Arnold Palmer on Sardinian vacation: peachy, citrusy, spicy, and plush, with flecks of sea salt and sun tan lotion tempering a dangerously crushable bottle of wine.
