The fruit used for this wine comes from 60 year old dry farmed vines... why does this matter? Because it concentrates the fruit and makes the wines even more outstanding than you can imagine. This wine makes me think of drinking fresh squeezed lemonade while sitting in a granite quarry during a spring rain. It's intense and vibrant yet also incredibly refreshing. Quite a revelation to anyone new to South African wines.
