Tzum Spring Ephemeral Fionn 2022
Grapes were hand-harvested early, placed in open-top wood fermenters, and never touched. Natural carbonic fermentation sets in, and gravity does the pressing. When the juice has fermented wholly dry, the wine is gently pressed and bottled. Nate says about this wine : 'the brilliance of a white wine, nestled within a red wine.'

Vinification: This wine hails from the desert-climated portion of The Gorge: 10 acres of black sand, hot winds, and basalt soils. Planted from Zinfandel cuttings from the 1800's on the Oregon Trail. This wine honors the forever-practice of Field Blending - making a wine from what grows together. A perfectly-hued pinkish red wine, this carbonically macerated and gravity-made wine is a generous heaping of stewed raspberries, white pepper, and sage.
